Location of Job: Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full Time – Permanent
Key role
- To assist the team in the design, development, programming, deployment, project documentations, and other tasks during various client projects.
- To provide first level support for basic client ICT issues including desktop maintenance, troubleshooting on various IT service infrastructure management and basic software troubleshooting.
- To research, learn and use technology including Open source solutions and Online communities (including Joomla, drupal, wordpress)
And much more.
Key Requirement
- A passion for IT
- Ability to learn new skills fast
- Must be very “Tech-Savvy” and know a little bit about anything IT
- Must have basic knowledge of Adobe Suite including Dreamweaver, Firework and other web development tools.
- Previous Web Development Experience using HTML ( & PHP ) is a big advantage.
- Previous knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio would be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Design tools (Corel Draw, Photoshop, Fireworks) or Adobe Flash would be an added advantage.
- Previous “amateur” development or related IT project to showcase at the interview is an added advantage.
Education Qualification .
- Minimum of an OND, HND, Bsc or their equivalent from any reputable higher Institution.
- Minimum of 1 year (maximum of 4 years) of experience in a “computo-centric”. (Related NYSC experience will suffice)
- Applicants should not be more than 30 years of age as at December 2010

Job Description
General Purpose
Act as a strategic partner to various Nokia middle-level business owners/country management to provide consultancy on building the Nokia brand with the target stakeholders. Part of global communications team but reporting dotted line to General Manager West Africa and needs to be key member of local management team.
Main Responsibility Area
- Contributes to the development and execution of strategic communication planning (including messaging, events, internal communications, etc.).
- Solicits input to communications planning from key stakeholders. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Creates relevant feedback channels and provides summarized feedback to key stakeholders.
- Manages given short-term budget for dealing with projects, events and external consultants, including planning and management of financial tools.
- Instrumental in driving the change of Nokia to a solutions company and to embracing new media.

In Nigeria, FHI is engaged in providing public health services and implementing programs in HIV/AIDS, TB, reproductive health, malaria, and health systems strengthening in partnership with the Government of Nigeria. To strengthen our operations in the country.
We are seeking qualified candidates for the position below:
Data Management Assistant: (2) (Monitoring and Evaluation Department)
Location: Cross River and Anambra Zones
The Data Management Assistant will be responsible for entering program data into FHI/GHAIN data management software for subsequent analysis, identifying and following up missing data, undertaking baste validation checks, and storing and disseminating data and hard copy files appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep track of received data and source documents
• Prepare and sort source documents, and identify and interpret data to be entered
• Bring to the knowledge of the zonal M&E Officer questions that need to be solved such as inconsistencies or missing data by the originators of the source data
• Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following format displayed on screen, and enter necessary codes
• Make necessary corrections to information entered
• Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered
• Keep record of work completed
• Review error reports and enter corrections into the computer
• Transmit entered information into the database
• File or route source documents after entry
• Provide routine office support such as making copies, faxing, answering phones, preparing correspondence for mailing, and delivering and picking up correspondence
• Perform a variety of routine data entry activities in accordance with established departmental procedures
• Print and disseminate automated graphical outputs from analyzed data
Minimum Requirements
• First degree or equivalent in science or science related field with at least 1year data management experience
