Our Client has a vacancy for a Junior Engineer - Electrical. This is a permanent position, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work in Nigeria.
As Junior Engineer - Electrical, you will report to the Senior Speciality Engineer (Electrical).
Your objectives will be as follows:
-Assist the Senior Speciality Engineer.
-Supervise and control the good quality of the engineering documents.
-Carry out various Oil & Gas production facilities engineering studies.
-Carry out studies.
-Perform equipment sizing and specification in accordance with regulatory standards.
-Issue specifications for materials procurement according to company/international standards.
-Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries and verify compliance with Company procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Carry out preliminary and basic engineering studies/in-house design.
-Prepare data sheets, MTO for flow lines & production facilities.
-Draw up piping material class specifications for material requests to Procurement.
-Read and interpret facility engineering drawings and designs and make necessary modifications or recommendations.
-Draw up and cross-check relevant procedures, international standards and company technical specifications for studies.
-Follow-up Purchase Orders to ensure timely approval.
-Control the quality of the deliverables received from third parties.
-Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the statement of requirements.
Qualifications and experience required
University Degree in Engineering.
Substantial experience on Oil & Gas production facilities.
Knowledge of International standards and regulations.

Work location based in Lagos with periodic site visits offshore.
The salary for this role is approximately $1500 - $3000 USD per month.

Qualification
• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum of 12 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferably with a major international operator) of which at least 10 years must have been spent conducting integrated reservoir and other technical studies. Expert proficiency in Eclipse and a good understanding of static modeling.

Description:
• Review database(s) ensure data is optimally organized, up to date and readily available for easy access
• Liaise with the Asset teams and Exploration to provide optimal planning schedules (TWP’s).
Regularly review the TWP’s to provide the best sequence that optimises well delivery as the business requirements evolve
•Provide input to the drilling budget by compiling level 2 cost estimates in conjunction with the Principal Drilling Engineers
• Perform well planning at project identification up to the submission of the FDP in close liaison with the Asset and Drilling teams
• Review well plans using DWOP results to determine means of improving well plans to save cost or reduce time
• Provide well planning schedules and drilling schedules for tracking well plans against actual performance
• Compile performance data per rig, making comparisons against the other rigs where feasible and the feedback to the operation as means of encouraging performance improvements. Hold reviews to determine the challenges and develop action plans

• Produce procedures such as the CM plan, defect/problem reporting procedures, change control procedures, etc, ensuring their compatibility with prescribed standards

Production Operator Trainees
Job description :
Successful applications will be enrolled into TEPNG’s Oil & Gas Production Training Scheme. Candidates who successfully complete the training programme will be considered for the usual recruitment process in TEPNG.
Upon employment, the ideal candidate will be responsible for effective and efficient operation and monitoring of production process equipment associated with TEPNG’s onshore or offshore production facilities. Specifically, the job holder will:
• Safely operate (or supervise the operation) and monitor all production process equipment associated with TEPNG oil and gas production, pipe lines, utility and safety systems to achieve set production and or operational targets.
• Carry out first level maintenance on instrumentation, pumps and other production equipment.
• Ensure that all relevant production data is accurately recorded and reported daily.
• Advise the Chief Operator of any potentially hazardous situations in order to ensure the earliest possible return to completely safe working conditions.
• Ensure that all installations and work sites are kept safe and that a safe and secure working environment exists at all times with particular regard to the permit to work procedures.
• Ensure that all installations and work sites are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain full awareness of emergency procedures so as to be capable of immediately assuring the appropriate responsibilities in the event of an emergency.
• To carry out any other duties assigned to him that are within his capabilities and for which he has received appropriate training.
• During, facility commissioning perios, assist the commissioning team in preparing commissioning operating tests and equipment performance checks, as well as preparing the start-up phase

Education :
The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
* OND or HND (or their equivalents) in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering from accredited higher institutions
* Class of degree of at least Upper Credit
* 2008/2009 graduate who has not participated in TEPNG’s recruitment process within the last 24 months
Experience :
The position does not require any experience. However, Oil & Gas bias may be an added advantage.

The Job
This is a 3rd Party Contract Staff Position
Job Objective:
• To develop and manage a centralized planning and control system for the overall production Project portfolio that will facilitate project delivery within established targets.
• Provide regular key information to management reporting on schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would amongst others:
• Provide project management support in the development of the integrated project schedule, leading to the creation of the overall project portfolio baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance.
• Develop and maintain the overall Project portfolio plan at Level 1 to 4, required to develop and execute each approved project in their hierarchy relationship.
• Develop and update the Overall CAPEX Project Plan, progress measurement and monitoring procedures so each element of the project performs the work process consistently.
• Schedule control activities to monitor physical progress against key deliverables and track trends on schedule overrun and under-run and use such trend information to identify timely corrective action to maintain schedule.
• Provide monthly progress updates, forecast completion together with the critical path and trend analysis.
• Assess the impact of approved changes and any deviation from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and “what if” scenarios to aid project management decision –making.
• Evaluate bid schedule and review contractor execution plan and develop the key milestone dates for critical projects for alignment with overall integrated Project portfolio. Verify that contractors reported progress is correct and accurately reflected in the overall Project portfolio integrated plan.
• Review scope change request for the impact on schedule and critical path of the project. Prepare
reconciliation between baseline schedule and the current schedule and provide schedule impact assessments to change control process.
• Perform risk and sensivity analysis on project schedules or critical path analysis and evaluate impact on overall Project portfolio plan.
• Apply probabilistic techniques to determine and communicate the possible range of schedule completion dates for the project. This will include tracking schedule risk mitigation efforts, the criticality of the main paths to completion, float consumption and release of the 50/50 schedule contingency.
Qualification and experience required:
• B.Sc. / HND in Engineering, obtained at a minimum of Second Class Lower Division/ Lower Credit.
• Must possess excellent Knowledge of MS PROJECT and PRIMAVERA PROJECT PLANNER
• Have 7 years post graduation experience, 5 years of which should have been in project development and execution in a reputable company
• Possess an understanding of contracting strategy, project optimization and construction constraints.
• Able to interface and communicate effectively with others in a multi discipline and multi –racial project team.
• Must not be more than 45 years
